Availability
Generally, the school season for Young Life is Labor Day through Memorial Day. During this time, camp is available to non-profit groups as well as Young Life groups. For more information on holding your event during the school season, please contact the camp office.
Venue Uses
Conferences, training events, educational retreats, women's retreats, men's retreats, college retreats, high school retreats, junior high retreats, staff retreats, etc. (restricted to non‐profit groups such as churches, parachurch organizations, schools and other 501(c)(3) organizations).

Housing Options
Cottages
Castaway's cottages have private rooms, kitchen facilities, large living rooms and porches that overlook Pelican Lake. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all of our Cottages! Each cottage ranges in size and can sleep 12-45 people. Including the Ketch that has 18 rooms.
Dorms
Over 400 guests can be accommodated in our dormitory housing. Each room has 4-6 bunk beds and a bathroom. Each dorm has a lounge that can be used as a secondary meeting space.
Facilities
Stay in one of our dorms filled with bunk beds, play pool, ping pong or 9 square in our game room, and get ready for incredible food to be served in the dining hall.
Head to our club room for large group gatherings or choose one of our smaller meeting spaces for break out sessions. We have AV options for every meeting space.
Our coffee shop, The Pier, offers a great place to chill out while enjoying your favorite latte or frappe. Shop around our camp store then head outside to relax in one of our beachside hot tubs!
Activities
Choose your route up the climbing tower then relax on one of our beachside hammocks!
Play sand volleyball, try out paddle boarding, water skiing or wake boarding, then play on our soccer fields. In the winter, get your friends together for a game of broomball!
Fly through the air with your friends while parasailing, ziplining, or on our three person giant swing! Shoot hoops in our gym or outdoor courts, play a round of disc golf on our 18 hole course and after head over to the craft shack!
Hold on tight while riding the banana boat or tubing on the lake. Catch the wind on one of our sailboats, or head inside to the game room for ping pong, foosball, or pool!
Accessibility
We welcome kids of all abilities to our camps. At Castaway, all of our main buildings are accessible to strollers or wheelchairs, and we have a handful of cabins that are designed to be accessible (special housing needs may be requested by your child's trip leader).
Walkways around camp are paved. We will also do our best to help every guest participate in activities. We want every kid to have the best week of their life as they come to camp!
